About Grayson

Grayson Spencer Lemmond has been a member of Lida Griest Educational Counseling since 2013. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Immediately following graduation, Grayson worked as a home-school instructor and tutor in her native town of New Orleans.
After moving to Atlanta, she was trained in Orton-Gillingham at The Schenck School. She also participated in a course at the school in understanding and interpreting psychological evaluations, which has been incredibly valuable in helping parents identify the right school for their child. Grayson went on to receive her Master’s in Education from Purdue University with a concentration in Special Education.
Grayson Lemmond has been a dedicated professional in college admissions guidance since 2013. Working closely with Lida Griest, Grayson has gained extensive knowledge of the college admissions landscape. Passionate about helping students succeed and grow, she spends time traveling to various colleges, gaining insight into the strengths of each school and what each university seeks in their applicants.
Grayson excels at identifying the right institutions for her students, ensuring that each one finds a place where they can truly thrive. With her expertise and personalized support, she shepherds students through the complex application process, empowering them to achieve their academic goals.
In addition to college counseling, Grayson enjoys working with families who are seeking school placement in K-12 schools in the Atlanta area. Visiting schools and building relationships with local admissions counselors gives her specific knowledge which helps guidance and decision-making. She has visited over 50 schools and also meets with professionals in Atlanta such as tutors and psychologists to maintain helpful resources for clients.
Grayson also coordinates the SSAT Flex Testing at Lida Griest Educational Counseling. She administers the test individually to students Monday – Friday mornings.
